A number of additional awards from the 20th anniversary event, such as pets, titles, and transmogrification items for the Coldflame service award, were recently unveiled by World of Warcraft. On 22nd October, when World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary event kicks out, players can obtain these collectibles in addition to more.

On 23rd November, World of Warcraft is hosting the biggest event in the game's lengthy history to commemorate its 20th anniversary. World of Warcraft players can gather event currency during the game's October 22–January 7 period by participating in unique activities, instances, and even regular endgame content from The War Within. These currencies can then be exchanged for a variety of goodies.

A few more of the goods that players can obtain during this event have now been revealed by World of Warcraft. Many of these items, including the recognizable modified Tier 2 armor sets from Classic WoW, had already been disclosed, however a recent tweet on Twitter featured a number of treasures that fans had not previously seen. The matching Coldflame Tempest mount obtained via the event's meta-achievement was previously seen by players, but this is the first time these service reward appearance items have been displayed. Of these, the Coldflame Edge, Bulwark, Winged Crown, and Edged Crest stood out the most.

Blizzard Service Awards Inspired World Of Warcraft Cosmetics

The real-life Blizzard service awards that are granted to staff members at different milestones served as the inspiration for the Coldflame cosmetics. Developers who work for Blizzard for two years are awarded a stein, followed by a sword in the fifth year, a shield in the tenth, fifteenth, and twentyth years, and a helm. Since some players have been playing World of Warcraft for 20 years, players of all experience levels can now obtain in-game cosmetics that resemble these real-life artifacts exactly, with the exception of the stein.

Players will have more than two months to complete the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary event's 77-day run to unlock all of its new goodies. Despite the overwhelming amount of collectibles, World of Warcraft appears optimistic that enthusiasts will be able to obtain the majority, if not all, of the goods during the event; any that players miss should reappear in future years.
