A brand-new 12-month subscription bundle for World of Warcraft has been unveiled, and it includes a ton of mounts and pets, such the fiery Lava Drake and the cute Startouched Furline. Players may save money on their World of Warcraft subscriptions by taking advantage of this offer, which comes with prizes for both Classic and Modern World of Warcraft. They can also get a ton of free, exclusive stuff.

For the past few years, players of World of Warcraft who purchase bulk subscription plans have been rewarded with in-game loot, which often consists of mounts and pets for both Classic and Modern World of Warcraft. The 12-month offers are refreshed every October, while the 6-month awards normally cycle out in January and July of each year.

The World of Warcraft annual subscription deal has now formally extended until 2024. In addition to saving $2 per month, players who prepay for a year's worth of World of Warcraft subscriptions receive the Startouched Furline Skyriding mount, the Gigantic Grrloc ground mount, and the Lava Drake mount for Classic. As if that weren't enough, fans will also be able to access the next mount and pet when the offer cycles in January 2025, in addition to the Charming Courier mount and Swoopy pet from the current 6-month subscription package.

With a cute hooded outfit and moon-touched paws, the Startouched Furline is a night-themed version of the Sunwarmed Furline that debuted in the cash shop in October 2021. Meanwhile, the Gigantic Grrloc is an orange recolor of the purple Ginormous Grrloc mount from the previous year's 12-month subscription offer. However, the Lava Drake is a molten reskin of the legendary dragon model that blends in well with the Rage of the Firelands patch that will be released for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic.

The Lunar New Year mount and pet that would be included in the upcoming six-month membership package were also hinted at in this new subscription offer. The Chinese Zodiac and element of each year are the themes for the January cycle of subscription offer incentives, just as the Auspicious Arborwyrm did for World of Warcraft in January 2024 for the Year of the Wood Dragon. The silhouette hinted to in the 12-month subscription offer appears to fit the description of 2025, the Year of the Wood Snake.

Even if they already have play time left, players can upgrade to a 12-month subscription at any point between now and October 2025 to receive these new goodies. Nevertheless, the Charming Courier will disappear in January when the prizes run out, so gamers who wish to take advantage of the current World of Warcraft six-month membership deal should do so as soon as possible.
