A popular franchise about a detective that has won people over all over the world is Detective Conan. There are currently over 100 volumes of manga, video games, and an anime that has been airing for nearly 30 years for this series. In spite of its widespread appeal not only in Japan but also internationally, 2024 marks the debut of a Detective Conan film in UK theaters.78

Japan's most beloved detective and the most well-known detective in the UK are collaborating to commemorate this historic occasion at a unique event that will take place at the Sherlock Holmes Museum in London. An entertaining puzzle game inspired by the anime series Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram has been introduced to the Sherlock Holmes Museum as part of the marketing for its showing. At the beginning of October, the Detective Conan movie's official Japanese X (formerly Twitter) page released a video about the event.

The Sherlock Holmes institution's official page and cineasiauk's Instagram were the first to share word of the unique event between Detective Conan and the institution back in September. The "mystery word hunt" was revealed in this post in honor of Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram's September 27 theatrical debut in the UK. It all began on 13th September.

Regular Sherlock Holmes Museum admission tickets provide free admission to the exclusive Detective Conan event. A Mystery Word Hunt card can be obtained from the museum office by anyone who has a ticket, and then they must look for the four hidden keywords throughout the rest of the museum. All challenge participants will receive an original Sherlock Holmes x Detective Conan postcard, and the first 100 finishers will receive a special present from the Sherlock Holmes Museum (which has already been created). The primary cast members of Detective Conan are pictured on the exclusive postcard posing in front of an actual image of the Sherlock Holmes museum.

The 27th film in the Detective Conan series is Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram. It remains the top grossing Japanese picture of 2024, having debuted on 12th April in Japan. Then, on 27th September, 2024, it had its theatrical debut in the UK, becoming the first Conan film to be released there. With over $41 million in revenue, the film has enjoyed a fantastic international premiere overall.

The movie's plot is summed up by Vue Cinema as "Missing Samurai swords." An unanswered enigma from the era of great Edo. The treasure hunt is about to begin. More explanation wouldn't be necessary, though, as the film is probably only going to draw in Conan series devotees rather than new viewers. Conan fans everywhere were thrilled to see the brand make its theatrical debut in their nation, and the UK's official welcome to Detective Conan is evident in their unique partnership with the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
