For those who enjoy making Lego models and painting figurines, Twitch has officially added new categories to its streaming catalogue. Though Twitch offers dozens of content categories already, these two new ones are perfect for lovers of particular pastimes.

The content in these categories is not new to Twitch, despite their recent addition. For some time now, the site has featured prominent Lego streamers, such BrickinNick, whose channel boasts nearly twenty thousand subscribers. Hopefully, the addition of these specialised categories to the site will enable streamers to connect with their target viewers and grow their communities more quickly. Also, it might speed up the process by which viewers select their favourite material. Naturally, not every update from Twitch is thus positive. Long-time followers were especially disappointed when Twitch deleted the well-known BibleThump emote from their site in September.

As a platform that is always expanding, Twitch frequently makes changes to its guidelines, resources, and other aspects in an effort to provide the greatest experience for viewers and streamers. For instance, Twitch just introduced a helpful editing tool to let streamers distribute quick video more quickly. Additionally, the site changes its category directory periodically and makes an effort to stay abreast of audience trends. In addition to the Music category, Twitch introduced a DJ category earlier this year that gave DJs the opportunity to showcase their work in real time with more specialised copyright guidelines. Two brand-new categories that target extremely particular demographics have been added to Twitch.

As reported by Twitter user Zach Bussey, Twitch has released two categories dubbed "Lego & Brick Building" and "Miniatures & Models" to its browsing catalog. The first one is for authors whose content focusses on using Lego and other comparable bricks to make projects, as the name suggests. On the other hand, artists who work in the Miniatures category mostly paint, glue, and even create little figurines. Even though the most popular Twitch streamers typically provide IRL or game livestreams, many viewers prefer this kind of video for amusement. New as they might be, both categories already have hundreds of followers and numerous active streams.

Undoubtedly, one of the most well-known streaming services available is Twitch. The website, owned by Amazon, has propelled a number of streamers to prominence, including IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, and Ironmouse. Numerous major Twitch creators have signed deals with Kick, its primary rival, and there is ongoing competition between the two services. Recently, Twitch addressed how Kick streamers disrupted Twitchcon and announced taking efforts to prevent this from happening again. With streaming services frequently upgrading their moderation standards, viewers can have a better experience both online and in real life.
