New passives and talents for every class in Season 6 have been announced in Diablo 4. The new feature is part of a range of modifications that Diablo 4 will make in the next season, such as progression adjustments, a new Elixir, foes, and more.

Players in Diablo 4 select from five different classes to take on Sanctuary's perils. They can use the points they earn to unlock active skills and passives, which translate into various builds, to increase the power of their character. One well-known example is the Whirlwind Barbarian build, which primarily sources damage from the Whirlwind active skill. Blizzard has revealed a significant adjustment that this area of gameplay will experience with the next season.

The reveal of the sixth season of Diablo 4 brought with it new passives and actives for every class. Mighty Throw, which can be improved to Enhanced Mighty Throw, Fighter's Mighty Throw, or Warrior's Mighty Throw, will be the Barbarian's active skill. Stone Burst, which will be enhanced to Enhanced Stone Burst and give the Druid the choice between Primal Stone Burst and Raging Stone Burst, will be available to them. The Necromancer's new active talent, Soulrift, will eventually be upgraded to Prime Soulrift or Supreme Soulrift. Rogue will start with Dance of Knives, which may be upgraded to Enhanced Dance of Knives. There are two alternative routes to take: Methodical Dance of Knives and Disciplined Dance of Knives.

Five new passive skills—skills that, once learnt, stay active forever—will be added to the Diablo 4 classes. The Druid will receive Humanity, Catastrophe, Feral Aptitude, Backlash, and One with Nature, while the Barbarian will receive Belligerence, Heavy Hitter, Warpath, Irrepressible, and Barbed Carapace as passives. The passives Necrotic Fortitude, Finality, Titan's Fall, Precision Decay, and Affliction are available to necromancers. Target practice, crossbow, evasive, unto dawn, and alchemical adjuvant are the rogue passives; evocation, energy focus, dampen layer, elemental synergies, and enlightenment are the sorcerer passives.

Players will notice a number of changes in addition to new active and passive skills for each of the five Diablo 4 classes. These changes could make gameplay more interesting as players experiment with different concepts. The introduction of the Spiritborn, a new Diablo 4 class with its own unique items, Spirit Guardians, and an extensive skill set to combat the perils of the Nahantu forest, is another significant addition to Season 6.
