Shamans in World of Warcraft will have access to an additional set of Ascendance forms in addition to glyphs that let them select between the first new model and the originals while performing skills. The addition of these new forms and glyphs to World of Warcraft is scheduled for Patch 11.0.5, which is anticipated to land in late October.

World of Warcraft unveiled new Elemental Ascendant forms for Shamans during the Patch 11.0.5 release. The 12-year-old Ascendance transformation forms that were employed by talents in the three Shaman specializations were to be replaced by these models. Many players did not like the alternative art direction the forms utilized, notably because of their wild hair, even though the models were of a greater caliber than the originals.

A second set of upgraded Ascendance models for Shamans have now been made available in World of Warcraft. The skeletal face has been altered to be more elemental, the wild hair has been trimmed and contained, and the armor now has a helm and pauldrons reminiscent of the Shaman's Ten Storms Tier 2 set that fans can obtain during World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary event. These new forms are similar to the first set, but with a few notable changes. These new models were found and provided by Wowhead before they were included in the upcoming build of the Patch 11.0.5 Public Test Realm.

World of Warcraft is adding glyphs to allow players to personalize their forms inside the same patch, even though these new models will be utilized by default. Fans can use the first new models with wild hair with the Glyph of Energetic Ascendance, or the traditional hooded Ascendance forms with the Glyph of Traditional Ascendance.

It goes without saying that Shaman players are ecstatic about these new choices for the game. Though the addition of glyphs to allow fans to select from all three possibilities is a great gain for everyone, the latest versions have received far more positive feedback than the prior version. Many players believe that Shamans will soon receive a major customization overhaul similar to what Druids received in WoW: Dragonflight Patch 10.2, and that these options are just the beginning.

The PTR will soon be open for testing of these new Ascendance forms and glyphs, however Patch 11.0.5 will be the official release date. Although a formal release date for the content update has not yet been announced, the patch is likely to be released on 22nd October, the same day as World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary celebration on the PTR.
