Following the completion of the Incineroar Tera raids, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet disclosed that Serperior, another beginning Pokemon, will be showing up in Seven-star Tera Raid dens during the remaining weekends in September 2024. Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will get an opportunity to capture a formidable starter Pokemon, most likely with a sought-after ability.

Serperior, also referred to as the Regal Pokemon, debuted as the Grass-type Starter for the Unova region in Pokemon Black and White. Statistically speaking, Serperior is a quick and defensive Pokemon. It is the fully developed form of Snivy and Servine. Serperior has a broad move pool, great speed, defense, and special defensive stats, and access to moves like Leaf Storm, Petal Blizzard, and Dragon Pulse. Serperior can be acquired in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by capturing and developing a Snivy and Servine. Snivy may be found in the Terarium's improved Savanna Biome, which is also home to other Starters like Tototile.

With the completion of the Incineroar Tera raids, players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now have the opportunity to capture an elusive seven-star boss. The Seven-star Tera Raid fight against Serperior the Unrivaled is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 19th September, at 8:00 PM Eastern, and conclude on Sunday, 22nd September, at 7:59 PM Eastern, according to Serebii.net. Trainers that are unable to battle the Regal Pokemon on that particular weekend, September 26–29, will get another opportunity. Serperior the Unrivaled won't change types from its regular form; instead, it will have the Grass type as its Tera type. Trainers of Pokemon who can defeat Serperior the Unrivaled will receive the Mightiest Mark from it.

Similarly to other raid bosses in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Serperior the Unrivaled will likely activate its Hidden Ability in the Seven-Star Raid. In this instance, stat modifications that would ordinarily be harmful to Serperior are made possible by the Contrary ability. For instance, after using Leaf Storm, the user's special attack stat would typically drop by two stages; however, the Contrary ability would increase it by the same amount. Therefore, it will be essential to use techniques like skill swapping or other abilities like neutralizing gas to remove this ability when facing Serperior. Serperior's standard and Tera types are same, so Fire, Flying, and Poison attacks can still harm the Regal Pokemon.

When facing the approaching Tera raid monster, powerful Pokemon like Skeledirge, Galarian Weezing, or Hisuian Goodra may come in handy. It's unclear what tactics Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will employ to take down Serperior.
