A skilled Halo enthusiast on the internet has crafted an amazing clone of the Haunted Helmet, portraying it as it shows up in Halo: Reach. This amazing Halo fan design gives life to one of the most iconic armour customization components.

When the Haunted Helmet debuted in Halo: Reach, it served as a means of in-game status display for the most devoted players of the game. After earning 20,000,000 cR, players were promoted to the Inheritor tier, giving them the chance to purchase the Haunted Helmet for a mere 1 cR. The Haunted Helmet was only available to a limited number of players, and its scarcity added to its allure. The Haunted Helmet has been resurrected in popularity after being absent from Halo Infinite for 14 years, however it was eventually included in the Operation: Fleetcom update. The new helmet is expensive at 75,000 Spartan Points, but it's much easier to get than it was in the past.

Redditor Thucan1601 revealed their amazing recreation of the Haunted Helmet, which bears a striking resemblance to the legendary Halo custom item that debuted in Reach. The Thucan1601 helmet has LED lights inside to add a striking touch, demonstrating the incredible attention to detail in this design. The user claims that these lights are RGB as well, "so that it can work with any kind of Halo armor if used for cosplay." But such perfection was slow to arrive. More than 40 hours were spent 3D printing the Haunted Helmet, and "a lot of time spent sanding, painting, and adding LEDs."

The 23rd anniversary of the Halo franchise will come later this year. It takes something extraordinary to stand out from the crowd because there have been so many incredible fan creations based on the property over the course of those 23 years. Seeing what the Halo community has to give is always cool.
