A brand-new Safari Zone and City Safari event in South Korea and Indonesia is scheduled for September, according to Pokemon GO. The Safari Zone is a regular ticketed Pokemon GO event that happens in various parts of the globe. Pokemon GO City Safari, a new Safari Zone concept that Niantic debuted last year, allows trainers to roam the host city rather than a predetermined area.

When the Safari Zone debuted in 2017, Pokemon GO users from Germany, France, and Spain participated in live events including meeting Pokemon from Johto and Kanto. Since then, the event has travelled to Brazil, Japan, and Canada. The inaugural City Safari was held in South Korea last year, and participants of Pokemon GO were rewarded with shiny Eeveelutions. For Pokemon GO, the City Safari and the Safari Zone are returning, complete with incentives and benefits for trainers.

A brand-new City Safari and Safari Zone event from Pokemon GO is scheduled to happen in September in Incheon, South Korea, and Jakarta, Indonesia. As part of Pikachu's Indonesia Journey, Pokemon GO City Safari: Jakarta will take place on September 21–22. During the event, monsters like Tropius, Noibat, and Flying Pikachu will make appearances. Trainers in Jakarta will see Skiddo for the first time, and as a reward, a brand-new Pokemon GO Special Research will show them Eevee sporting an explorer's helmet. From 7 KM eggs, players will have the opportunity to hatch Gible and three other Pokemon, and from 2 KM eggs, Pichu, Togepi, and Mantyke. Trainers with tickets will benefit from things like a higher likelihood of discovering shiny Pokemon and a longer-lasting lure.

Pokemon GO Has Announced Events for City Safari and New Safari Zone

  • Pokemon GO City Safari: September 21–22, Jakarta
  • September 27–29 is the Pokemon GO Safari Zone in Incheon.

Songdo Central Park will host Pokemon GO Safari Zone: Incheon on 27th September and 29th. Players will come across Pokemon like Feebas, Pikachu with a safari hat, and the Unown I, C, and N—three of the rarest creatures in Pokemon GO—during the event. South Korean Pokemon GO players who purchase tickets will receive perks such as extra trades and a special medal, similar to the City Safari event in Indonesia.

Trainers throughout the world have a lot to look forward to in September, but Asian Pokemon GO fans will also find plenty of interesting material. On Ultra Unlock Raid Day, Mega Lucario makes his Pokemon GO debut. Niantic has finally included the much-awaited Mega evolution to the game. The Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel event will bring Shiny Togedemaru to the game, and Poplio will be the featured Pokemon for August's Community Day, according to Pokemon GO.
