MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 is an offline Mobile Legends tournament which was held at Boulevard Riyadh City, AMAZON Arena, Riyadh. The event started on 28th June 2024 and concluded on 14th July 2024. Organised by Moonton,Esports World Cup Foundation and VSPO, this tournament boasted a massive prize pool of $3,050,000 USD. Lets go through the details of this event.

Format of MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024

The Wildcard round was held from June 28th to 30th, 2024. During the group stage, eight teams were randomly drawn into two groups. Single round robin format was applied and all matches were played in best of one series.Top one team from each group advanced to the decider stage.

During the decider stage, matches were played in best of five series.The winner qualified to the group stage. Group stage was held from July 3rd to 7th, 2024. Sixteen teams were randomly drawn into four groups. Single round robin format was applied and all matches were played in best of two series.Top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage. 

Bottom two teams from each group were eliminated. Playoffs were held from July 10th to 14th, 2024. Eight teams played in a single elimination bracket. All Matches were played in best of five series except the grand final. The Grand final was played in the best of seven series.

During the Quarterfinals, Team Liquid PH won 3-1 against Falcon Esports, Falcons AP.Bren defeated See You Soon with a 3-0 score, Selangor Red Giants won 3-0 against Fire Flux Esports and NIP Flash defeated HomeBois with a 3-2 score.

During the Semifinals, Falcons AP.Bren defeated Team Liquid PH with a 3-1 score and Selangor Red Giants won 3-0 against NIP Flash.

During the Grand Final, Selangor Red Giants defeated Falcons AP.Bren with a 4-3 score and became champion.

Prize Pool

The event boasted a substantial prize pool of $3,050,000 USD with the following distribution:

• Selangor Red Giants became the champion and took home $1,000,000 and 1000 club points.
• Falcons AP.Bren secured the second position and took home $500,000 and 600 club points.
• Liquid Echo and NIP Flash secured the third and fourth position and each took home $200,000 and 275 club points.

The event was streamed live in english on Youtube, Facebook, Tiktok and Twitch.
