Some issues have spread to other Classic Era lands as a result of the most recent update for World of Warcraft, which was released in advance of Season of Discovery Phase 4. Although these faults will most likely be fixed shortly, in the interim they are causing some amusing issues on the old World of Warcraft servers.

A significant change was just applied to World of Warcraft Classic in anticipation of Season of Discovery's Phase 4. This release marks the beginning of the experimental WoW Classic realm's endgame phase. It includes a completely new dungeon, redesigned raids and world monsters, and a ton of collectible Rune engravings and skill books that can change your class.

On other Classic WoW realms, though, it appears that this update has had some unforeseen side consequences. Since World of Warcraft's eight-hour maintenance ended, a number of bugs have surfaced, many of which seem to be carryovers from Season of Discovery. Classic Era and Hardcore realms are seeing the appearance of the new Might of Stormwind boost, which is the Alliance's exclusive counterpart to the Horde's Warchief's Blessing, along with an unlocking quest for the Testament of the Divine Steed skill book. Additionally, Warlock's Rain of Fire spell lost its channelling period, resulting in some comically overpowering torrents of flame, as spotted by WoW content developer Esuvii.

Issues With WoW In The Classic Era Caused By The Season Of Discovery Phase 4 Update

Rain of Fire, a warlock spell, is cast instantly as opposed to being channelled..

Though it wasn't officially added until Legion, players can still receive the new WoW Classic Season of Discovery skill book, Testament of Divine Steed.

When turning in the Head of Rend Blackhand, the Might of Stormwind bonus from Season of Discovery Phase 4 has been visible.

The graphics on the Mage's Tier 2 Netherwind Regalia set are gone.

The renowned Mage tier set from World of Warcraft, the Netherwind Regalia, appears to have lost its visual textures. Instead of the recognizable blues and purples that players are accustomed to, this has resulted in a flat gray model for the majority of the ensemble.

Even if they are hilarious, the Season of Discovery patch's spillover has created some issues, particularly because it also impacted the highly competitive Classic Hardcore worlds. These are just the bugs Wowhead has found since maintenance ended; there might be more that players haven't discovered. Phase 4 of the WoW Classic Season of Discovery officially starts on 11th July; hopefully, Blizzard can get these problems fixed quickly. It goes without saying that fans of Season of Discovery were not prepared for these revelations in this episode.
