On 4th July, Helldivers 2 surprised players by releasing new fleet upgrades for the Super Destroyer. The most recent Helldivers 2 hotfix update has repaired small flaws and issues that players were finding rather unpleasant in addition to adding new content. The Stratagems will benefit greatly from these new fleet upgrades, which will also improve targeting mechanics, buff damage, and shorten cooldown.

Arrowhead Studios produced Helldivers 2, a sci-fi PvE cooperative shooter that was released by Sony in February 2024. While co-op titles like Baldur's Gate 3 are becoming more and more popular among PC gamers on Steam, Helldivers 2 has faced several difficulties since its release, including a few controversies and consecutive upgrades. Despite the criticism, the game appears to be doing alright right now, with steady player numbers on PlayStation and gradual yet efficient upgrades.

The official Helldivers 2 Twitter account posted a video showcasing the most recent Super Destroyer fleet enhancements. The game's latest enhancements were all mentioned in the film, along with their overall effects. In Helldivers 2, it also indicates which upgrade will impact certain stratagems so that players are aware of what they're obtaining. The first upgrade is Advanced Crew Training, which, if engaged while there are still Eagle uses available, will further lower the Eagle Rearm cooldown by 10%. With the exception of Advanced Crew Training, the remaining five fleet enhancements included in the most recent Helldivers 2 update will impact particular game strategies.

After its release in February, the highly regarded PvE shooter on PC and PlayStation immediately drew a sizable player base. On the other hand, Helldivers 2 has lost 90% of its Steam players, according to data from July. Even though the figures aren't bad right now, they do make one wonder if the game will remain viable in the long run.

It's important to note that the PSN account connection problem has prevented Helldivers 2 from being played in over 170 countries globally. While it's no longer required to link your PSN account, users in these countries cannot purchase or play Helldivers 2 on Steam.
