It took a long time for KuroKy and Puppey—whose teams are Nigma Galaxy and Team Secret—to square up, but their battle eventually happened during the Elite League 2024 Swiss round. It was anticipated that the series would be close because neither team has been playing well lately. But Secret arrived prepared with its drafts and the playstyle it intended to use to win the series 2-0. At the end of the draft, Secret selected Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan's offlane hero carefully in order to win lanes and get the team off to a strong start. As Secret advances to the Swiss stage finals, a position in the round robin stage of Elite League 2024 is up for grabs.

Elite League 2024: Nigma Galaxy vs. Team Secret: Highlights and match summary

Recap

Nigma relied on Miracle-'s Faceless Void in the second game, whereas in the first Nigma selected a team with significant early nuke damage. Secret's sidelanes worked well and in just 23 minutes, the team was able to establish a 10k advantage because to Dark Seer's offlane utilization of Guardian Greaves and Pipe of Insight to negate the nuke damage. Nevertheless, Miracle- helped Nigma recover command of the game by using clutch Chronospheres. The game continued, but Secret held strong as the heroes grew fatigued, gathering several items to win in forty-six minutes.

In the second game, Miracle- was entirely shut down by Secret's skillful map maneuvering early on, which resulted in multiple deaths for him. Conversely, all of Secret's heroes had a strong start, and Crystallis had a terrific lane on Gyrocopter. Nigma's allies had little net worth because of the unrelenting aggression that was causing the map to shrink, and it took time for the safelane Morphling and offlane Dragon Knight to scale. After spotting a window where their heroes were considerably more powerful, Secret surged into Nigma, killed them, and won in twenty-six minutes.

Highlights

After Nigma defeated Aurora in the event's first series, it appeared the team would be able to perform at a high level, a pattern frequently seen in LAN or international competitions.

As it happened, Nigma did demonstrate resiliency, but lost the following three series and was eliminated. The squad does not have any events scheduled for the upcoming months, hence things are unclear going forward.

However, Secret's plays and movements throughout the series were remarkable, and even though it defeated an injured Nigma, it needs to play similarly against Aurora in its final game. If they win, they will move on to the next round, and if they are defeated, they will be eliminated.
