Team Falcons has once again made headlines. Following a near miss at the PGL Copenhagen CS2 Major qualifiers, the Saudi Arabian-backed powerhouse has reportedly sealed the deal with none other than Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, a renowned name in the CS:GO community.

Dupreeh, renowned for his unparalleled track record in Major tournaments, is set to join forces with former comrades Emil “Magisk” Reif and Danny “zonic” Sørensen, both former fixtures in the Astralis and Vitality lineups. Together, these titans have clinched four Major titles, a testament to their dominance and synergy on the battlefield.

The journey to Falcons for dupreeh has been nothing short of a whirlwind. Departing from Vitality alongside Magisk and zonic in late 2023, dupreeh briefly found himself at Heroic amidst a storm of roster changes. Yet, his tenure at Heroic was but a brief detour, as fate now sees him donning the Falcons' colors.

For Team Falcons, this acquisition marks a pivotal moment in their quest for redemption. Despite recent setbacks and missed opportunities, including failed bids for notable players like NiKo and Twistzz, the organization remains steadfast in its pursuit of excellence. While the road to success has been fraught with challenges, including a less than stellar RMR performance, Falcons' resolve remains unshaken.

The addition of superstar s1mple on loan from NAVI for the BLAST Spring Showdown briefly ignited hopes of a resurgence. However, s1mple's tenure was short-lived, leaving Falcons to regroup and strategize for the battles ahead. Yet, with the financial might to make substantial offers, Falcons stands poised to secure the services of the legendary player should the opportunity arise.
