Team Heretics, reeling from a lackluster performance in the 2024 Winter Split, is gearing up for a fresh start in the upcoming League of Legends season with significant changes to its roster.

In a bold move, the coaching staff has opted to bench veteran powerhouse Perkz, replacing him with the promising rookie Zwyroo in the starting lineup for the LEC. Additionally, the team will see the introduction of former Fnatic support star Trymbi, who will be taking over the bottom lane from Kaiser. These adjustments come just in time for the commencement of the Spring Split on Saturday, March 9.

Arnau Vidal, co-founder of Heretics, shed light on the decision, emphasizing that while Perkz's dedication was acknowledged, the team's overall synergy failed to show signs of improvement. Following a series of scrimmages, management intervened to implement the changes necessary to rejuvenate the team dynamics.

The arrival of Zwyroo injects fresh energy into the lineup, albeit with immense pressure accompanying his debut. Tasked with filling the shoes of a European mid lane legend, Zwyroo is not only expected to excel individually but also to elevate the performance of his teammates. According to coach Alvar "Araneae" Martín Aleñar, Zwyroo has exhibited commendable leadership qualities during practice sessions, instilling confidence in his fellow players.

Meanwhile, the return of Trymbi after a season-long hiatus brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the team. Having previously showcased his prowess with Rogue and Fnatic on the competitive stage, Trymbi's presence is anticipated to serve as a guiding force for Heretics' aspiring talents. With a seasoned roster rallying behind him, Zwyroo faces the daunting challenge of spearheading Heretics' resurgence in the LEC
