Sentinels team secured their spot at Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Madrid after a commanding performance against NRG in the VCT Americas Kickoff semifinal. With this victory, they join LOUD as the second team from the Americas to earn a ticket to the prestigious tournament.

From the onset of the VCT Kickoff, the Sentinels faced stiff competition, navigating through the challenging "group of death" with victories over formidable opponents like 100 Thieves, Leviatán, and MIBR. However, their journey culminated in a thrilling showdown against NRG in the semifinals, where they emerged triumphant with a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

For Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro, the win held special significance as it coincided with his birthday, making it a memorable celebration. Reflecting on the team's success, Zellsis highlighted the importance of trust and camaraderie among the players, both on and off the battlefield. He credited the team's cohesion and the guidance of head coach Adam Kaplan and captain Mouhamed “johnqt” Ouarid for their achievements.

While Zellsis showcased stellar performance throughout the series, it was the dynamic duo of TenZ and zekken who stole the spotlight with their remarkable synergy, securing crucial kills and pivotal moments that turned the tide in favor of the Sentinels. TenZ's standout performance, including a critical four-kill play on Sunset, proved instrumental in keeping the team's momentum alive.

Despite facing fierce resistance from NRG, the Sentinels displayed resilience and determination, staging a remarkable comeback on Sunset to secure a narrow 16-14 victory. The series reached a climax on the final map, Split, where the Sentinels delivered a masterclass performance, led by captain johnqt's exemplary leadership.
