VALORANT continues to push boundaries with its innovative updates. The anticipation mounts as Episode Eight, Act Two of VALORANT promises a massive change in the Premier tournament structure, empowering aspiring teams like never before.

Premier, VALORANT’s esteemed tournament circuit fostering the rise of amateur teams, has historically grappled with entry barriers, deterring countless potential contenders. However, Riot Games, the masterminds behind VALORANT, are poised to revolutionize Premier, making it more inclusive and accessible to all players, regardless of when they choose to embark on their competitive journey.

The recent announcement from the official VALORANT account heralds a series of transformative changes set to redefine Premier starting from Episode Eight, Act Two onwards. Chief among these updates is the abolition of the early enrollment constraint, liberating teams to join the fray at any juncture during the stage. This groundbreaking modification enables teams formed midway through the season to promptly register in their designated zone, commencing their quest for points towards the season-ending playoffs without delay.

Premier stands as VALORANT’s conduit to professional esports, offering teams the platform to forge alliances, engage in fierce competition, and reap the rewards of their prowess. Yet, since its inception on Aug. 29, 2023, Premier has grappled with a one-week enrollment window, stifling the aspirations of numerous players. The risk of missing the enrollment window or encountering technical glitches during registration would invariably consign teams to an agonizing seven-week hiatus, forcing them to spectate from the sidelines or disband in search of alternative avenues for participation.

The latest update heralds a paradigm shift, dismantling the erstwhile enrollment restrictions and facilitating seamless team creation. Teams can now dive headfirst into weekly matches, accruing Premier Score with every victory. This egalitarian approach levels the playing field, granting latecomers an equal shot at securing a berth in the playoff tournament, provided they amass the requisite 675 Premier Score.
