Anticipation surrounds the return of the Los Angeles-based organization, TSM, to the League of Legends stage. While no concrete plans have been made, recent revelations from the organization's officials indicate that negotiations are still underway for TSM's grand re-entry into tier-one competition.

The previous season marked a challenging period for League of Legends esports, particularly in North America. The landscape witnessed a player walkout protesting Riot's decision to eliminate the requirement for teams to field a second division roster. Amidst this tumultuous backdrop, TSM, along with other notable teams like Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians, bid farewell to the North American scene, unveiling plans for a swift transition to another tier-one region—an initiative still in progress as we approach 2024.

A recent Reddit statement from TSM on 31st January acknowledged that negotiations persist, but the journey has been fraught with "many hurdles," hindering the organization from securing a spot in any League competition. Despite this, TSM remains steadfast in its commitment to expeditiously return to League esports, pinpointing the year's end as a decisive milestone. If all goes according to plan, the Summoner's Rift could once again bear the esteemed TSM branding during the first competitive split of 2025.

As speculations swirl regarding TSM's eventual landing spot, rumors suggest a potential venture into China's League of Legends Pro League (LPL). The allure of LPL lies in its status as one of the premier League esports regions, offering TSM a platform to shine on the World Championship stage with the right roster.
