The format for Call of Duty Challengers 2024 Season has been officially revealed. The amateur division stands as the gateway for aspiring players aiming to carve their names onto Call of Duty League (CDL) rosters. Prominent figures like Sib, Pred, and Nero once trod the Challengers path, and with only 12 coveted CDL team slots, the lower division has become a breeding ground for unsung talents yearning for the limelight.

The anticipation among amateur competitors reached a peak as the season unfolded with no word on the competition's fate. However, the fog of uncertainty has finally lifted, offering a panoramic view of what lies ahead.

CoD Challengers 2024: Unveiling the Blueprint

Unlike its predecessor, 2023, which hosted Challengers Opens in four out of five CDL Major tournaments, the new season scales back with only two Opens. Major I in Boston and Major III in Toronto emerge as the sole hosts for Challengers Opens, leaving Major IV in Carolina and Major II in Miami devoid of these battlegrounds.

A spotlight steals the scene as the 2024 Challengers season introduces Three Challengers Elite Seasons, featuring six North American and six European teams each. Hinging on consistency, the top eight teams will safeguard their coveted spots after each Elite Season, constructing a narrative of endurance and triumph.

  • Last Chance Qualifier: Offering a lifeline to 6 teams (2 NA, 2 EU, 1 APAC, and 1 LATAM)
