The catalyst for this upheaval traces back to Coach Amit's earlier departure, setting the stage for the subsequent exits. In a revealing livestream, Omega disclosed that the decision to leave, along with Akshat, Neyo, Hector, and Amit, was a collective choice to maintain their unity as a team.
Team SouL’s Legacy With Omega, Hector, AkshaT, Neyo, Goblin, and Amit
Despite their pivotal roles in Team SouL's journey, the organization has chosen to part ways with these five players. Their impact was most evident in BMPS Season 1, solidifying their status as one of India's top teams. The pinnacle of their journey was representing India in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022, concluding at the 11th position.
While Team SouL faced challenges post-BGMI relaunch, recent months witnessed a commendable resurgence. Securing 4th positions in both Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 and Skyesports Championship 5.0 marked a noteworthy comeback.
With the departure of the roster, Team SouL, primarily a BGMI-focused organization, finds itself without a BGMI team. The burning question now is whether the team will sign a new roster or embark on building one from scratch. Equally intriguing is the fate of Omega, Hector, AkshaT, Neyo, and Amit —will they venture into an independent team or sign with a new organization?
As the dust settles on this chapter of Team SouL's journey, the esports community eagerly awaits the unfolding of a new narrative. The departure of seasoned players opens doors to fresh possibilities and raises anticipation for the next iteration of Team SouL in the BGMI arena. Only time will reveal the direction these individual players and the organization choose for their future in the ever-evolving landscape of mobile esports.
