BetBoom Team and Nigma Galaxy, two promising teams, faced an unexpected early exit from the BetBoom Dacha tournament as the group stage concluded. The tournament, which had fans on the edge of their seats, saw these teams fall short of expectations and left them without a share of the prize money.

BetBoom’s Early Exit From BetBoom Dacha

BetBoom Team, placed in Group A alongside Team Secret, Evil Geniuses, and TSM, had a challenging path from the beginning. Team Secret, a team that had recently missed out on qualifying for The International 12 (TI12), was their first opponent. In an intense series, both teams managed to secure a win each, showcasing their competitive spirit. Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko's stellar performance on Sven in the second game provided a glimmer of hope for BetBoom.

However, their fate was sealed in the subsequent series against TSM. Knowing that they had to secure a 2-0 victory to have any chance of advancing, BetBoom Team started strong, holding a commanding 16k net worth advantage at 32 minutes. Unfortunately, a fateful teamfight, despite holding the Aegis, led to a complete turnaround for TSM. Although BetBoom Team managed to level the series, their earlier loss meant elimination was inevitable.

Nigma Galaxy’s Early Exit From BetBoom Dacha

On the other side of the tournament, Nigma Galaxy found themselves in Group B, facing off against Beastcoast, a team with a solid grasp of their opponents' strategies. Beastcoast emerged victorious with a 2-0 sweep. Nigma's journey continued against 9Pandas, and despite showing moments of promise, they fell short in both games. A comeback led by Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov's Storm Spirit in the first game and 9Pandas' resilience in the second game sealed Nigma's fate.

The final series against Gaimin was a tough pill to swallow for Nigma, as they were handed a defeat in the opening game. However, in the following match, both teams opted for unconventional hero picks, with Nigma securing their first win of the tournament, bringing some relief amidst the disappointment.

For BetBoom Team and Nigma Galaxy, this early exit means they leave the LAN event without any prize money, a stark reminder of the ruthlessness of the esports arena. Meanwhile, six teams continue their journey in BetBoom Dacha, with four in the upper bracket and two in the lower bracket, all vying for the coveted $150,000 USD prize awaiting the champion.
