In a thrilling showcase of skill and strategy, Vampire Esports, the formidable team from Thailand, emerged victorious in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2023 Main Event. Defending their title from the previous year, Vampire Esports displayed unparalleled dominance throughout the tournament, securing the championship in stunning fashion.

With a grand prize of $2 million up for grabs, the Main Event held on 16th July witnessed intense battles and fierce competition. Vampire Esports showcased their superiority by accumulating an impressive total of 227 points across 18 matches. Their exceptional teamwork and individual prowess propelled them to claim the prestigious title and a well-deserved prize of $432,000.

Six to Eight Secures Runner-up Position

The runners-up of the Main Event were the formidable Six to Eight (STE) from China. Accumulating 138 points and acquiring 99 eliminations, they displayed remarkable skill and determination, earning themselves a prize money of $232,000. Additionally, TonyK from Vampire Esports was honored with the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, accompanied by a cash prize of $10,000, for his outstanding performance and contribution to his team's success.

Gaimin Gladiators Clinches Third Position

The third-place spot was claimed by the tenacious Gaimin Gladiators, who amassed 121 points, followed closely by Alpha7 Esports securing the fourth position with 120 points. Alter Ego, the reigning champions of the PMSL Spring, secured the fifth spot with 108 points, showcasing their consistency and prowess on the international stage. Stalwart Esports, despite clinching two Chicken Dinners, settled for the eighth position with 99 points.

The 2023 edition of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) marked the inaugural international tournament of the year for the popular mobile game. Spanning from 11th to 16th July, this highly anticipated event witnessed the remarkable triumph of Vampire Esports, who emerged victorious in both the Allstars and Main Event phases.
