Bringing together teams from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Pacific, and China, this global spectacle promises to be a riveting display of skill and strategy. Sixteen top-tier teams will vie for the ultimate prize, commencing with a captivating four-group round-robin group stage. Only the best teams will advance, with eight teams securing their spots in the double-elimination playoff bracket.

The China Qualifier will send three deserving teams to compete in the championship, while the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier will determine two additional participants. The Americas and Pacific regions will each have one last chance to qualify, with one team emerging victorious from each respective Last Chance Qualifier.

EMEA, in particular, will have an additional advantage at Champions 2023, courtesy of Fnatic's triumph at Masters Tokyo. This victory has granted EMEA two valuable slots in the championship, further intensifying the competition within the region.
