Valorant fans have reason to rejoice as Riot Games has officially announced the highly anticipated Episode 7 content update for the popular tactical shooter. Set to be released later this month, this update is poised to be one of the most substantial in Valorant's history. With the inclusion of a new currency, Kingdom Credits, a revamped progression system, and the introduction of Team Deathmatch mode, players can expect an exhilarating and immersive gaming experience.

Valorant Episode 7 Highlights

Following are the highlights of the changes expected to come with Valorant Episode 7:

New Progression System:

In a bid to enhance player engagement, Valorant Episode 7 introduces a new and flexible progression system. The updated Dailies system allows players to earn progress across all game modes except Deathmatch, ensuring they don't miss out on rewards. Gone are the days of feeling compelled to log in daily, as the catch-up mechanic will assist in earning any missed rewards. This player-centric approach eliminates the common fear of missing out (FOMO) prevalent in many live-service titles.

Team Deathmatch:

Adding to the excitement, Valorant Episode 7 introduces a brand-new game mode called Team Deathmatch. Players will engage in thrilling battles alongside teammates against an opposing team across three specially designed maps. This fast-paced mode features four timed stages and removes the need for economy rounds. With a mere 1.5-second respawn timer, intense action is guaranteed. The first team to reach 100 kills emerges victorious, making every match an adrenaline-fueled race to claim victory.

Agents and Gear:

In Valorant Episode 7, players can look forward to unlocking new agents and gear through the introduction of free event passes. These passes automatically activate on the day a new Agent is released and remain active for 28 days. Earning Agents remains a similar process, while Kingdom Credits, the newly introduced currency, provides additional rewards and unlocks associated Agent Contract rewards or battle pass accessories from previous seasons. To ease the transition, Riot Games generously offers all players 5,000 Kingdom Credits upon the update's release.

Exciting Extras:

Alongside the major additions, Valorant Episode 7 brings a fresh battle pass brimming with enticing cosmetics waiting to be unlocked. Players can customize their characters with exclusive skins and other attractive rewards, adding a layer of personalization to their gameplay experience.

Valorant Episode 7, also known as patch 7.0, is set to launch on June 27th. Fans can mark their calendars and prepare for an immersive and action-packed adventure.
