One of the leading European League of Legends (LoL) teams Fnatic is reportedly on the verge of signing Korean ADC player Oh "Noah" Hyeon-taek, who i regarded as one of the best up-and-coming ADCs, for the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) Summer Split. Following Martin "Rekkles" Larsson' departure from the team, Fnatic has been searching for a new ADC to replace him. According to a report by Blix.gg, the organization is close to reaching a verbal agreement with Noah, who is currently playing for Zero Tenacity in the Ultraliga.

Could Korean ADC Noah be the Key to Fnatic's LEC Success?

Despite Zero Tenacity finishing last in their group at the recent EMEA Masters event in April, Noah's individual performance was impressive. According to stats site Games of Legends, he had top-tier stats across the board, surpassing all other ADCs during the split, proving he is well above the European Regional Leagues (ERL) level and ready to make the jump to the LEC.

The move to sign Noah could be a significant boost for Fnatic after two disappointing splits in 2023. The organization is hoping to turn their season around in the LEC Summer Split, which is yet to have a confirmed starting date.

Fnatic has a long and successful history in League of Legends, winning seven LEC championships and appearing in four World Championship finals. However, the team struggled in the previous LEC Spring Split, finishing in sixth place with a record of 8-10. The departure of Rekkles, who had been with the organization for six years, only added to their struggles.

The potential signing of Noah could provide Fnatic with the firepower they need to challenge for the LEC title once again. The Korean player has been one of the most hyped import players coming into 2023, and his addition to the team could be a game-changer.
