Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, a professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player, has sought to build his new BGMI team for the past few months. However, there has been no update regarding his new potential team. Recently, he revealed that the delay in team formation was because simply recruiting players would not guarantee loyalty. He was afraid that other organizations might sign his players if they performed well when the game returned.

Mavi reveals problem hindering formation of BGMI team

In a recent live stream, one of Mavi’s viewers asked him why he was delaying the formation of his BGMI team. Responding to this, Mavi stated that there was a major problem that was hindering him from putting together his team. In order to build a successful team, Mavi noted that he could not simply recruit players and expect them to remain loyal to him.

In order to explain his point, Mavi put forth a hypothetical scenario where he built a team with four players. He stated that it was possible for one of the players to achieve exceptional success in the BGMI community, leading to increased attention from potential investors. When the game returns, if an organization wants to invest in this outshining player to build a new team around them, Mavi could not stop them.

Mavi emphasized that he was not willing to stunt someone’s growth. He added that he could not offer a player a salary of INR 50,000 when they were receiving INR 2 Lakh from some other organization. He expressed his belief that the decision regarding what team chose to pick was entirely in the player’s hands, and the player should make a choice based on his best interests.

Mavi has established himself as one of the finest BGMI in-game leaders (IGL) in India. With a myriad of achievements to his name, including the second-rank finish in the PUBG Mobile World Leader 2020 - East, Mavi will be looking forward to building a winning team to dominate the Indian BGMI esports scene. However, it will be interesting to see how long Mavi will take to build his new team.
