A League of Legends club will soon be purchased by YouTube sensation Mr. Beast, who just topped 100 million subscribers on the network. When questioned about the speculations that he would be interested in buying a spot in the League Championship Series, or LCS as it is more generally known, Mr. Beast said that he will undoubtedly acquire a club in the future.

Jimmy Donaldson, often known as Mr. Beast, is a devoted League of Legends player who has shared the screen with some of the game's most recognizable characters in a number of YouTube and Twitch competitions. No additional information was made public despite his indicated interest in buying his own squad in 2020, and up until today, he had not made an official presence at a League of Legends tournament hosted by Riot. Azael questioned MrBeast on the analyst desk about buying an LCS team, and he said, "100 percent ." Mr. Beast clarified that he wants to do it correctly and at the appropriate time because he wants to support a team that can reach the Worlds finals, something that no LCS team has ever been able to do.

Mr. Beast indicated that he might buy a team within the next one to two years, though he didn't provide any further details. MrBeast appears to be in the planning stages of making this decision, therefore it is unknown whether he intends to buy an existing LCS squad or form his own team. Earlier this year, MrBeast hosted a significant League match between him and Ninja that featured numerous well-known content producers, including Tyler1, Ludwig Ahgren, Emiru, Doublelift, and Tyler1. Mr. Beast has made no secret of his admiration for League and how well it has endured for the past ten years.

Mr. Beast continued, "If we do it, I want to create a squad that gets to a stage like this," gesturing to the packed stadium anticipating the start of the 2022 World Final, in which T1 will aim to win an unprecedented fourth championship against the overwhelming favorites DRX. Mr. Beast appears keen to change the fact that no LCS team from North America has ever won an international competition by taking his time to put up a squad that can contend for the Summoner's Cup.

A Mr. Beast-run club would be a welcome addition to the LCS, which has seen a decline in popularity in recent years, and it would probably attract a huge number of new players. We will have to wait and see if this results in improved performances on the global stage, as all three North American teams exited the 2022 World Championship, which was held in four North American cities, with a combined record of 3-15.
