A versatile, OLED ultrawide display from Corsair partnered with LG will become the newest addition to their array of monitors. The world’s first ever bendable OLED Gaming monitor Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 is a gigantic powerful monitor with 45-inch, 3,440x1,440-pixel OLED display. The W-OLED screen on the 1440p display allows it to operate at up to 240Hz.

The corporation have moved above and beyond by developing a flexible screen, considering the device already having amazing specifications. Accordingly, the 21:9 display monitor and 240Hz refresh rate is a new top speed for that resolution. The monitor being flat or curved depends on the user's preferences. The 45-inch curve measures 800R (for comparison, it is higher than that of Samsung's bizarre Ark monitor).

While having a brightness rating of 1000 nits and an optical dynamic contrast of 1,350,000:1, it moreover offers HDR, making pictures as 'close to life and realistic as possible,' in accordance with a press statement from Corsair.

W-OLED solely uses the white regions, preventing each OLED from producing its very own colour and transmitting it directly to the panel. It now passes it through an RGB filter, giving us the expected colours we desire. The one and only aspect of the monitor's quality is that it is slightly concerned about the usage of W-OLED. W-OLED is a less expensive option than conventional OLED, albeit the ordinary consumer won't be very bothered. This may seem like a lame excuse, but somehow it lessens the possibility that some OLED components would fade and burn in well over time.

The display was already being created in collaboration with LG, who invested heavily in flexible and bending TVs just several years ago and even showed off a product that was somewhat makes it easier for people to what Corsair is now making.

Previously at CES 2021, LG displayed a 48-inch gaming monitor with a 1000R rating which would curve in. This was kept in the same room as their fold-out OLED TV and other unusual gadgets that year.

According to the news announcement from Corsair, Dennis Jackson, Senior Director of Systems Product Management & Marketing: ‘With the help of LG Display, XENEON OLED FLEX is the beginning of a whole new class of gaming monitor, with the performance and literal flexibility to exceed the needs of even the most discerning gamers.’

There is currently no launch date for the XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED Gaming Monitor; purchase details will be made available subsequently in 2022.
