Ever since Michael Shroud.  Grzesiek's return was revealed, everyone's
been anticipating while seeing him play once more with his new squad.
In the Valorant Champions Tour North American Last Chance Qualifier
matchup against The Guard, Sentinels launched its campaign. Even
though the NA squad has to lose but its newest crew member was the
center of attention. After five years, Shroud made his professional
comeback, and numerous individuals witnessed it. This way, new record for
NA spectators was achieved.

The game surpassed the previous record for NA Valorant with a high
viewership of 608,385, as per Esports Charts. The aggregate attendance
figures come from the tarik co-stream, the official broadcast stream, and
additional sources. A Sentinels match that was held earlier also holds the
record for the most watched match as well.

Shroud became well-known for his work along with the group Cloud9 in
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where he first rose to prominence. He
stopped playing the game in 2017 and switched to streaming, habitually
attracting a sizable audience. All were thrilled to see the legend returning
back to action when Sentinels officially announced his entry back into the
fight back in July.

It's hardly surprising that Esports fans rushed to the Valorant Champions
Tour North American Last Chance Qualifier to watch one of their favorite
players put his capabilities to the test. Shroud left his stamp on the game,
even though it was for a losing cause, particularly in the opening Breeze
stage. Alongside Viper, he recorded 17 kills and 10 assists, assisting his
side in taking control of the map.

Over the following two maps, Sentinels displayed a brave fight, but The
Guard played spoiler and were able to squeeze out a deserving victory.
Shroud finished the game with a final score of 39/59/25. Numerous
supporters of the homecoming athlete posted messages on social media.
Plenty of others watched only to see his reappearance. The number of
spectators for the match only serves to emphasize how devoted and
adored his followers are.

Sentinels had several solid games in 2021, but their recent run has been
lackluster. The roster has undergone several changes, including the
acquisition of Shroud, and has yet to compete in an international event.
Sentinels are now in the lower division as a result of their defeat against

The Guard. Unless the club wants to maintain its chances of qualifying for
the Valorous Champions 2022, immediate improvement is required.
The Sentinels following opponents have not yet been chosen as of this
writing.
