Riot has unleashed their plans on bringing around a massive change in the legendary Teamfight Tactics set 7 dragon Aurelion Sol patch 12.13 and is expected to roll out on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Speculation of Oceania receiving the first patch of TFT 12.13 is around everywhere. The notes will drop as the updates start to roll out in Australia.

Aurelion Sol is one of the tier-five dragon champions who is supposed to have an impact on the last stages of the game. Costing a total of 30 gold to two-star, players expect a champion at that price to have the capabilities to win games.

According to game designer Kent “Riot Kent” Wu, reducing reliance upon Mage emblems while adding a new debuff effect is the major change in TFT Set 7. Aurelion Sol has been a little troublesome for Riot, When Dragonlands went live, it was completely shattered in the history of the game. Later, the developers were committed to coming up with a Day 1 hotfix that nerfed the Astral dragon and at the same time fixed a big mana bug. Since then he’s never really been the same.

TFT: Aurelion Sol update coming to 12.13! Reducing his reliance on Mage Emblem by making his initial casts matter more and his ramped casts not auto-win. He's also getting a new debuff effect - enemies will take more damage from all sources for 8s. It stacks with Bard's amp ๐Ÿ‘€ pic.twitter.com/PgDwFsTlm7

With the modifications up in  Aurelion Sol, the balance team specifically wanted the dragon to break free from the Mage emblem, have extraordinary power that didn’t auto-win fights, have a different aura from Ao Shin, and gave feel like a champion pursuing when on level seven, according to Riot Kent.

The big two are Sy’fen and Shi Oh Yu. The eight-cost carry dragons have been tearing up the meta with numerous strong boards revolving around them. Nerfs to their damage could be in line to try and bring other champions into the meta. Outside of those two, Riot might attempt to rebalance Revel or Guild โ — till then patience is required to sit and wait for what the developers have in store. TFT patch 12.13 will go live on July 13, 2022.
