Playable characters are probably one of Genshin Impact's most valuable assets, as they are
its primary source of revenue. Limited five-star characters appear on the game's Limited
Banner, which rotates items every six to seven weeks.

Each Genshin Impact update is divided into two banner cycles, each of which includes one or
two five-star characters, three four-star characters, and a unique Weapon Banner. A recent
post on the game's subreddit shows an intriguing graph of current Genshin Impact banner
revenue.

Training, a Reddit user Holiday revealed that the current Kamisato Ayaka banner has
surpassed one of the recent double banners featuring Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya
Kokomi in terms of revenue. In the second installment of the ongoing Genshin Impact
Version 2.6, Kamisato Ayaka received her first banner re-run. The first banner cycle
introduced two well-known characters, Kamisato Ayato and Anemo Archon Venti.
One of the reasons for the banner's success is its longest-running Limited Banner
in-game history, giving players more time to spend their Primogems on it. This banner
extension is the result of a Genshin Impact Version 2.7 update delay. Even though developer
HoYoverse has yet to confirm the reason for the delay, fans believe it is due to the
complicated COVID-19 situation in Shanghai.

Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, two new characters in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 2.7,
have already been revealed by HoYoverse. Yelan, a new five-star Hydro Vision holder, is said
to be a support or sub-DPS character whose power scales with health, which is unusual for
bow users. In the first part of the update, she will appear on a double banner alongside
Anemo character Xiao. Kuki Shinobu is a four-star Electro character who will appear in the
second part of the update alongside Arataki Itto.
