After leading the popular football club Associazione Sportiva Roma, popularly known as
Roma among football fans to victory in the inaugural Europa Conference League title, their
current manager Jose Mourinho has pledged his future to the football team, mentioning
that he feels a “100 % Romanista”.
Mourinho guided Roma to win the first-ever Conference League trophy on Wednesday, all
thanks to a goal from Nicola Zaniolo. After this victory was achieved by the team, Mourinho
insisted that he shall stick with Roma in the immediate future, and for now shall celebrate
the team’s newfound success.
With the Serie A side having won the trophy of the Conference League, Mourinho becomes
the first manager to win all three of Europe’s major club trophies, having previously won the
coveted Champions League and Europa League. Roma came under the guidance of the
Portuguese manager this season, who led the Serie A team to their first victory after
winning the Coppa Italia in the season 2007-08.
With the winning of the Conference League trophy under the banner of Roma, Jose
Mourinho becomes the first manager to have contested all of Europe’s major trophies. And
now, he seems to have added another feather to his cap by winning the Conference League
to go on to make his one the perfect record.
