Pittsburgh Knights launch their own NFT collection in collaboration with ThetaDrop

Pittsburgh Knights is an American esports organisation founded in the year 2017 based in Pennsylvania. Lately, the organisation has made an announcement regarding a partnership collaboration with an entertainment Blockchain company named ThetaLabs to launch a series of NFT collections. The partnership mainly intends to release NFTs that will cater to a diversified range of utility and interests to their fans.

The knights while working with Theta are making their way to drop four NFTs in 2022. Simultaneously, ThetaDrop has planned to drop their first NFT in the month of April, available in the Theta Lab’s NFT marketplace. The other three drops are planned to be released after April.

The Knights have announced in a release that the NFT holders will have special access to exclusive ThetaPass virtual ticketing and many more other benefits as well. The benefits are in-store with premium video content, private chat with members of knights organisation, and a special merchandise store.

The CEO of ThetaLabs, Mitch Liu, says: “So this exclusive collaboration with the Pittsburgh Knights on a series of NFTs brings us back to our roots. We’re excited to welcome the team into the wider Theta community, and we look forward to offering their fans a signature mix of real-world experiences and benefits with our utility NFTs.

The knights have the backing up of high-profile investors like Wiz Khalifa, Pittsburgh Steelers, and some other known figures. This is the first-ever partnership of the knights which is also the latest high-profile cooperation for Theta. The organisation has also collaborated with big names like Katty Perry, Jukin Media, Fuse Media, Fremantle, and the World Poker Tour.

The Business Development Director of the Pittsburgh Knights, Matt Roche, shed light on the deal: “As an organisation, it’s the main goal to share opportunities and access with gaming fans – it’s something that we do with our events, community programs, our pug lobbies and now with Theta Labs, we’ll be able to do that with NFT’s”.

The Knights have their teams in eight competitive game titles with the best players across the entire board. Their teams include the Halo team for the LATAM region, which remains victorious in the Halo Championship Series; the PUBG Mobile team in North America, and the 8th ranked Valorant team in North America, in present competing in the Valiant Champions Tour Playoffs.
