The introduction of the Galarian Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres in Pokemon Sword and Shield was the first time that the trainers were able to witness regional versions of any Legendary Pokemons. Although the regular Galarian legendary Pokemons had a different color scheme, their Shiny versions are similar to their original counterparts revealed in Generation 1. 

Trainers who are looking to capture the Shiny Galarian versions of these three legendary Pokemons now have the opportunity to do so. These Shiny variations will be distributed as rewards to those trainers who take part in the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Shield’s 2022 International Challenge. Here are all the details of this event.

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Get Shiny Galarian Zapdos

The Shiny Galarian Zapdos will be awarded to the trainers who sign up and take part in three battles during the 2022 International Challenge in March. Trainers can register between 24th February till 10th March. The battles will take place between 11th and 13th March.

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Get Shiny Galarian Articuno

Trainers who have registered and taken part in at least three battles during the 2022 International Challenge in February will receive the Shiny Galarian Articuno as a reward. If trainers want to obtain their Shiny Galarian Articuno, they need to first check the challenge results in the Battle Stadium menu, then go to the Mystery Gift menu and then select the Get Battle Stadium Rewards finally.

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Get Shiny Galarian Moltres

Trainers will get a Shiny Galarian Moltres as a reward if they sign up and take part in three battles during the 2022 International Challenge in April. They can register between 31st March till 14th April, The battles will take place between 15th till 17th April.

Pokemon Sword & Shield: How to register for the 2022 International Challenge

If trainers want to register for the Pokemon Sword & Shield 2022 International Challenge, they need to follow the steps mentioned below::

Launch Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield.
Go to the VS menu and enter it.
Trainers need to then select the Battle Stadium option.
They can then go for the Online Competitions option.
Finally, trainers need to select the Search Official Competitions option.

Trainers would have to register and participate if they want to win the Shiny Galarian Legendary Pokemons. The outcome of the battles does not affect the rewards and thus, players can just claim the prizes after the competitions are over.
