The team at Niantic has announced the GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally Event. Taking advantage of this, trainers across the world can obtain enough Pokeballs to catch all their favorite Pokemons from the Johto region. Apart from this, many Pokeball-lookalike Pokemons will also be appearing during the event. It will also serve as a debut for the Hisuian Electrode in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally: Event Duration

This event will start on 10:00 AM 18th February and will continue until 08:00 PM 25th February local time. Apart from the debut of the Hisuian Electrode, other ball-like Pokemons (Hisuian Voltorb, Koffing, etc) will also appear during this event. There will also be many research tasks available during the event from which Pokemon GO trainers can get a lot of Pokeballs.

Pokemon GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally: Hisuian Electrode’s debut

Finally, trainers can evolve their Hisuian Voltorb into Hisuian Electrode. This will be the first time that this pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be available in Pokemon GO. Trainers will require 50 Voltorb candy to evolve their Hisuian Voltorb into Hisuian Electrode.

During this event, many ball-lookalike Pokemons will appear in the wild. Here is a list of all the unique Pokemons that will appear more frequently.

Pokemon GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally: Timed Research, Field Research Tasks, Bonuses

During the Pokemon GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally event, trainers can complete various Timed Research that will award them Poke Balls. By completing certain Field Research tasks, trainers can get Poke Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls. During this event, buddies will bring Poke Balls in gifts to the trainers.

Pokemon GO Tour Poke Ball Prep Rally: New Ball Guy costume available 

Trainers can now also dress up in a new costume. They can get the new Ball Guy avatar outfit from the Pokemon GO shop. It will be available from the start of this event.
