After parting ways with the majority of its team and head coach earlier today, Crazy Raccoon will begin the 2022 VALORANT season with a new lineup.

Teams all around the world have made changes to their VALORANT rosters in order to improve their chances of winning the Champions title this season. Some clubs have merely cut one or two players, while others, such as Crazy Raccoon, have made more significant changes.

Hideki "Fisker" Sasaki, Daiki "Minty" Kato, An "Medusa" Min-cheol, Park "Bazzi" Jun-ki, and head coach Yusuke "mun" Ota all left Crazy Raccoon today. Neth is the only member of the Crazy Raccoon squad who competed at VALORANT Champions who is still alive. Munchkin was published earlier this month, and ade was promoted to a post as a streamer within the company. Since the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Three Japanese Challengers Playoffs, Minty hasn't competed in an official match.

Crazy Raccoon failed in Group C at VALORANT Champions, failing to win a map against Team Vikings and Team Secret. They were swept in both matches, leaving them as one of only four teams without a map win.

Before the 2022 season, Crazy Raccoon will need to find a new roster, while the organization promised fans that a new lineup would be "coming soon." Although Bazzi has already found a new home with ESports Connected, most of the dropped players are free agents for the upcoming season.
