Information regarding the next BioShock appears to have emerged, with two towns positioned above and below ground being described. It's been eight years since BioShock Infinite was launched, and while that's nothing compared to Half-Life 2, it's surprising that no official announcement has ever been made about a new game, despite the fact that it's known to be in production.

The last time BioShock 4 was referenced was in the Nvidia mega leak, which has so far shown to be completely true, as well as a few job advertisements that characterize it as an open-world role-playing game set in a new area not seen before in the series.

According to the leak, the upcoming game will be named BioShock Isolation and will revolve around two towns fighting a 'vertical war,' one above ground and the other below.

The leak claims that the city above ground is free and prosperous, and is headed by a successful entrepreneur, while the one below is led by a tyrant, which is a fairly common premise from classic science fiction.

The game is being created by veterans of the prior titles, as well as personnel who worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, according to Twitter account Oops Leaks.

According to the leak, the game will be developed with Unreal Engine 5 and will be released early next year, rather than at The Game Awards next month.

It all seems very credible, but the two assets that were leaked are extremely easy to fabricate because there are no screenshots or specific information.

There might be two cities with radically different ideology, one of them located underground right below the other, both sharing a "flipside" border zone with an unleashed "vertical war". pic.twitter.com/Cy6fddJmV1
