Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, one of the all-time greats and a stalwart on the CIS squad, was named tournament MVP. Na'Vi took first place for the second time in a row with a 0.93 KPR, 76.4 percent KAST, and a 1.39 overall rating.

After a clean sweep over Vitality in the upper bracket, Natus Vincere progressed to the Grand Finals. The French team did manage to make it to the lower bracket, but despite playing a more competitive match, they are still 1-2.

On Mirage, Natus Vincere jumped up to an early lead in a competitive encounter (16-12). S1mple, who was backed up by fellow Ukrainian rookie B1T, led the charge with 36 total frags and 123.9 ADR. With a comfortable win on Nuke, Vitality was able to tie the series (6-16). Previously, Na'Vi had the longest victory streak on the map, but Vitality broke it after 20 games.

The final game of the series was played on Inferno where they managed to perform very well and ended with a score of (16-7). The CIS squad had a 12-3 advantage at halftime because to their dominating performance. Despite the fact that ZywOo helped the team win a few more rounds on CT, Vitality was unable to mount a comeback, as Na'Vi took the final map.
