Ghost Recon Frontlines is the upcoming Ghost Recons game from Ubisoft. This time, it is going to be very much different from every Ghost Recon game we have had so far. This time it will be a purely Battle Royale PvP game, and will also be free to play. Players will be able to get different classes of characters in each team, just like Battlefield games. The character that the players choose will be crucial. However, the ability to control a stealthy squad is not there with this game, as this time it is just PvP battle royale.

The closed beta test for Ghost Recons Frontlines was supposed to start around four days ago on October 14, 2021. And, it was supposed to run all the way till October 21. So, the players would have gotten an entire week to enjoy it, and try it. However, the beta test never started, and it was announced just a day before that it would be postponed. And, since then we have not yet got a new date for the beta, which is kind of disappointing for the fans of the series, and those who were waiting to try it out.

Ubisoft tweeted out that the team has decided to postpone the closed test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline. They state that the team is dedicated to making for the best experience possible with the game. No proper reason was given for the delay, and details for the new date of the closed test will be revealed as soon as they can. The reason for the delay is unknown. However, it seems likely that the game is in very early stages, and releasing it now can backfire. Not to mention, many people are already disliking the concept of yet another battle royale title. So, if Ubisoft ends up releasing it with lots of other technical issues then it will be like adding fuel to the fire.

So, if you were waiting for the closed test of Ghost Recon Frontlines, it turns out that you would have to wait for some more time. And, how much more time? That we do not know yet. But, Ubisoft should soon be revealing more about the new dates for the closed test. Well, till then all we can do is wait.
