For those of you who have been playing Destiny 2 for quite a while, you must be aware of Destiny Content Vault. For those of you who do not, Destiny Content Vault is where some of the old, unused content of the game that is no longer much active is stored, after being removed from the game. Destiny 2 was released almost five years back,and since then it has got tons of new content. It would be difficult to keep it all accessible due to storage issues. So, Bungie came up with the Destiny Content Vault where older, less-used content would be stored, and later will be made available to the game on different seasons. So, the stuff in the DCV would be available sometime later down the line.

And, now one of the largest, and also most popular expansion so far, Forsaken is also going into the Vault. Destiny 2’s course changed greatly with the introduction of Forsaken. But, now it is getting removed in order to create room for new content that is going to release with the upcoming Witch Queen expansion. Forsaken was big, however, Witch Queen is supposedly even bigger, and better. However, it is just the campaign that is going to be removed, and the Tangled Shore destination. However, Dreaming City is still going to be available. So, The Last Wish Raid, and the Shattered Throne would still be accessible.

For those who have not played Forsaken yet, then there is a bit of good news for you. You can get the expansion for free on December 7, 2021. It might be a good idea to finish the campaign and also doing the quests associated with it to get Ace of Spades, one of the best Exotic hand cannons in the game. Talking of exotic quests, Pressage, and Harbrigner missions would also be removed. So, you can no longer farm for Hawkmoon, and Dead Man’s Tale after the removal. Bungie is working towards other alternatives to obtain the weapons, so it is to be seen how that works out.

Another thing to mention is that on December 7, a new Forsaken pack will be ammde avaialbe. And, this would include access to Last Wish raid, and Shattered Throne along with all the expansion’s extotics. So, a great option for those who do not want to go through the hassle of farming it all, as they cannot do it a few months later anymore.
