TakenedTV, a YouTube video creator and enigmatic Fortnite pro, has revealed his association with NRG Esports after confessing to installing hacks with the goal of cheating in the Solo Cash Cup. The YouTube content creator and Fortnite pro, has now admitted that he was banned by Epic Games for downloading cheats. Takened apologised to his supporters and detailed the events that led to his suspension in a video posted on September 20th. After failing to qualify for the Fortnite Champion Series, the former Fortnite pro stated that he was stressed out from schoolwork and dejected (FNCS). This eventually prompted him to desire to cheat in the Solo Cash Cup, despite the fact that he had already chosen to abandon the game.

"I opted to download hacks because I said, 'what the hell, why not, and if I get banned, I'll get blacklisted.' 'Anyway, I'm going to resign.' So the day I cheated, I downloaded the cheats and was banned from the game before I could even play it; before I could even log in to the game, I was banned "he stated

Sundown, the Associate Creator Marketing Manager at Epic Games, liaised personally with the Anti-Cheat team to check whether Takened was cheating, according to FNBRUnreleased on Twitter. They later confirmed that the former Fornite pro had been permanently barred from using his computer to download hacks.

Making this tweet since I'm finally allowed to talk about it, but @TakenedTV was in fact banned for downloading cheats on his computer. When Sundown asked the Anti-Cheat team to check if he was cheating, they confirmed he was in fact cheating and they turned his ban into a perm.

Takened said in a TwitLonger that he wished to leave because of his academic obligations, saying, "I have to do my college applications and I have a lot of school work."

He went on to say that he seldom ever played the game and that his views and subscriber numbers had plateaued. Given that the game was not benefiting him in any way, he felt compelled to cheat. "I was in a steady environment where the views would remain constant and nothing would change. I wasn't going to place with Jerian, and I was stressed out from playing the f***ing game, which I despise "Takened remarked.

He went on to say that after he was banned, he decided to come back using a different account. "Epic never banned me again," the former Fornite pro said, "so I took advantage of it and started posting videos and streaming 3-5 times a week and made as much money as I could before college started." "I kept taking advantage until the point that Jerian got upset and wanted to shut me down," Takened added.

Takened apologised to supporters who may have lost respect for him, saying he knew the day would come when everyone would learn the truth. "I understand that cheating is unethical, and I apologise [...] I won't be active for a while, and I sincerely hope that you will forgive me for my actions at some point in the future "Takened came to an end.

Takened's Twitter and Twitch accounts have now been disabled.
