From July to August 2021, MSI conducted a DDR4 memory overclocking competition. More than 100 entries from over 20 countries were registered, with enthusiasts contesting for rewards such as the Optix MAG274QRF-QD, MAG CH130 X Gaming Chair, MPG CORELIQUID K360 cooler, and many more amazing prizes!

Eligible MSI B560 Motherboard Models:

2-DIMM:
MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI
B560M PRO WIFI
B560M PRO
B560M-A PRO
B560M PRO-E

4-DIMM:
MAG B560 TOMAHAWK WIFI
MAG B560 TORPEDO
MAG B560M MORTAR WIFI
MAG B560M MORTAR
MAG B560M BAZOOKA
B560M PRO-VDH WIFI
B560M PRO-VDH

Users can now enjoy improved performance, particularly an increase in FPS while gaming, thanks to the Intel 500 series chipset, which is the first time Intel has made RAM overclocking available on a B series motherboard.

MSI's unique "Memory Try It!" programme is also included. Tuning memory-related parameters in BIOS is much easier, and there's no need to manually modify all of the data like timings, voltages, and so on only to reach a higher frequency.

MSI is also hosting an amateur DDR4 memory overclocking competition for the first time. The MSI OC lab is well-known for setting world records for CPU and memory frequencies, and the great majority of MSI motherboards are also intended to support rigorous overclocking.

However, MSI had limited the usage of aggressive cooling technologies this time to make the event more accessible to the general public. More people might take part in the tournament while learning more about their DDR4 memory's capabilities and the relationship between memory frequency and real-world performance.

On the MSI B560-A PRO motherboard, an Indonesian player achieves DDR4-6200.
The participants obtained some outstanding results, despite the fact that this was not an extreme overclocking competition and the CPU temperature could not be lower than 25 degrees Celsius.

IvanCupa of Indonesia takes home the title with a DDR4-6200MHz performance on a G.Skill Trident series memory stick fitted on an MSI B560-A PRO 2-DIMM motherboard. Despite the fact that it isn't built for severe overclockers, it manages to handle such high frequencies with ease.

The winners of the gaming monitor, CPU cooler, gaming chair, and other prizes have been announced! The following are the winners and their prizes:

IvanCupa (Indonesia) won first place with his Optix MAG274QRF-QD Quantum Dot Gaming Monitor.
Danteroid (Egypt) – MAG CH130 X Gaming Chair – 2nd Place Runner-up
BlueFiber (Indonesia) – MPG CORELIQUID K360 Liquid Cooler 3rd Place Runner-up
