Halo Infinite is undoubtedly one of the most awaited games for 2021. And, the release date is stated to be Holiday 2021, so most likely, we can expect it to release somewhere around November this year. However, it seems that not everything will be available in the game immediately right at the launch. It seems that the developer, 343 Industries is not planning on making everything available from day one itself. The multiplayer tech test happened some time back, and the devs got a lot of player feedback from it. In the latest development update video, the developer of Halo Infinite, 343 Industries talked about the feedback that they got, and also about what will be available in the game immediately after launch and what won’t be available. So, let’s go over all of that.

From the recent development update video, the devs have made it clear that campaign co-op will not be made available on launch day. This is pretty disappointing, as co-op is definitely something very important for a game. And, that’s not all. The Forge mode will not be available on the launch day either. So, when will these be made available? Well, according to what the devs have to say, they are set to release in Season 2 for Halo Infinite. The devs claim that the Forge game mode and co-op campaign are not currently up to the mark that they want them to be. 

The quality levels that they want are just not met yet.  For that reason, they would delay the Forge game mode, and co-op campaign for now, and release it a few months later with the upcoming seasons. In Season 2, a co-op campaign would be made available. Whereas, for the Forge mode, you would have to wait till Season 3. By that time, they will be able to make all the changes they deem necessary and make it just the way they want it.

The seasons should be running for roughly about three months. So, for the co-op campaign, the players would be having to wait approximately 3 months from the release, and for the Forge mode, about 6 months. And, as for the release date of Halo Infinite that is not officially revealed yet, but it should be revealed very soon, considering the Holiday 2021 is not that far either, just a few months from now.
