Gods Reign, a renowned Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team, bids farewell to its accomplished roster, marking the end of a stellar chapter in the 2023 circuit. The departure, announced on 28th December, includes the talents of Harsh "AquaNox" Rao, Hamza "Blaze" Khozema Hyderabadwala, Shubham "NinjaJOD" Ranjan Sahoo, Mohammed "Owais" Owais Lakhani, and Robin "Robin" Singh Shekhawat.
The farewell statement from the organization echoed sentiments of gratitude, acknowledging the departing players not merely as a team but as the pillars of shared dreams and victories, sending them off with best wishes on their new journeys.
Gods Reign’s Performance in the Past BGMI Tournaments
The Gods Reign BGMI journey had been nothing short of extraordinary, with notable victories like the Villager Esports Pro Invitational 2023 championship and a commendable runner-up position in the India-Korea Invitational. The team's consistent performance in the last quarter of the year secured them the third spot in our BGMI Team Rankings, amassing an impressive 61.17 points. This achievement is particularly commendable given the dominance of Blind Esports and Gladiator Esports in the circuit.
Gods Reign's journey post-BGMI's return saw minimal changes, with Owais joining the lineup in late October and Robin exiting a month later. Now, the organization parts ways with the remaining four players, signaling a strategic revamp for the upcoming 2024 circuit.
Speculations are rife about Gods Reign's potential acquisition of the recently disbanded Gladiator Esports lineup, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the unfolding esports narrative.
