The revelation followed a week of fervent speculation within the Dota 2 community, spurred by a cryptic image dropped by the organization on the 15th of November. This image tantalizingly showcased placeholders for five potential team members, setting the stage for an eagerly awaited roster transformation.

The unveiled roster for Shopify Rebellion's 2024 campaign boasts a formidable lineup:

  • Artour "Arteezy" Babaev
  • Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer
  • Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek
  • Thiago "Thiolicor" Cordeiro
  • Kartik "Kitrak" Rathi

This seismic shift in the roster came on the heels of Shopify Rebellion bidding farewell to Tal "Fly" Aizik, Abed "Abed" Yusop, and Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen on November 8th. The departure marked the end of a four-year collaboration with Arteezy, paving the way for a fresh, invigorating lineup.

Yopaj, renowned for his aggressive playstyle as the former midlaner for BOOM Esports, is set to make his debut outside the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. His inclusion promises a significant boost to Shopify Rebellion's team dynamics, backed by victories at the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 and GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 with BOOM Esports.

Thiolicor, previously associated with D2 Hustlers, assumes the role of position 4 (soft support) with a wealth of experience dating back to 2015. Fans eagerly anticipate witnessing his strategic prowess, exemplified by memorable plays such as a game-changing counter-initiation against OldG, where he deftly stole a Black Hole, resulting in the decimation of the opposing team.

Completing the revamped roster is Kitrak, a former OG player endorsed by two-time The International (TI) winner Anathan "ana" Pham. Kitrak's proficiency as a hard support adds a layer of strategic depth to the team.
