Gaimin Gladiators has emerged as the champions of the Dota 2 Berlin Major 2023, defeating rivals Team Liquid in a best-of-five Grand Finals clash. The Gladiators, who claimed their second Major championship of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit season, took home the grand prize of US$200,000 and 500 DPC points. Meanwhile, Team Liquid bowed out in second place with US$100,000 and 450 DPC points.

Gaimin Gladiators showcased their supremacy throughout the tournament, finishing as the first seed of Group A with a 13-3 record and cruising through the upper bracket with three-straight sweeps over Team Spirit, OG, and 9 Pandas. In contrast, Liquid had a shaky start to the Playoffs, suffering a defeat to OG in the first round of the upper bracket. However, the team managed to turn things around and secured their place in the Grand Finals after knocking out Xtreme Gaming, Team Aster, Tundra Esports, and Evil Geniuses.

In the Grand Finals, Gaimin Gladiators got off to a flying start, showcasing their mid game prowess and winning the first game in 44 minutes. In the crucial third game, Quinn demonstrated exceptional gameplay as Gaimin Gladiators took the lead right from the laning stage and steadily progressed towards a 34-minute triumph. The Gladiators built an impenetrable deathball that absorbed every attack from Liquid. Even with their utmost efforts to stage a recovery, Liquid failed to make an impact as Gaimin Gladiators executed a teamwipe in the final clash, securing their win at the 33-minute mark.

The final showdown was sealed by Gaimin Gladiators with an almost indomitable strategy that had an abundance of destructive power, remarkable endurance, and worldwide reach. Dyrachyo commanded the Alchemist, Quinn was in charge of Leshrac, and Ace led the Underlord, creating an invincible front line. Meanwhile, Erik "tOfu" Engel skillfully controlled the Techies, and Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp adeptly wielded the Io to provide both teamfight management and healing from the back.
