It seems that Ubisoft has decided on delaying the release of The Settlers yet again. For those of you who are unaware, The Settlers has already been delayed before, and now it is being done again. First, it was set to release in Autumn 2019, but then it got postponed to a 2020 release. And, then it got delayed indefinitely. Later it was announced that it will be released on March 17 this year. So, that was just like two weeks away. But, now the developers have announced that the game is up for another delay. What is even worse is that this time they have not provided any date, or month for the next “scheduled release”.
Why is The Settlers being delayed?
The developers have made a new tweet addressing the fans of the game about this delay. According to the tweet, this delay is being made after taking into consideration the feedback that they have got from the community after its closed beta was made available. The tweet states that this closed beta was a great opportunity for the developers to get feedback from the players. Upon checking the feedback, they realized that the game’s quality is not in line with what the developers had in the vision for the game. For this reason, they had to take the decision of postponing the game’s release yet again. You can check out the main tweet below.

What is the new release date for The Settlers?
So, as things stand currently, The Settlers is once again delayed, and there is no information regarding when the game will be out. However, since the closed beta was already out, it seems that the main game is ready, now all they need to do is fix the bugs, glitches, and maybe make the game more user-friendly, and also more appealing. So, if I was to guess, I would say it should still release sometime this year. But, that is all just speculation from my side. It still remains to be seen what the developers actually have in plan, and how long will that take to be implemented.
