Cyberpunk 2077 has to be one of the most hyped games, if not the most hyped game for 2020. Almost everyone who is a gamer has been badly waiting for this. The game already got delayed twice, and with it, the wait has increased. Now, the game is set to release in November, and this time it seems this is final. So, with just a few months away from the release, a lot of information regarding the game is bound to be revealed. CD Projekt Red does NightCity Wire events to reveal more information about Cyberpunk 2077. On 18 September 2020, we had the third NightCity Wire event. Out of the various information revealed, one major information that was revealed was the system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. And, these system requirements are pretty low. Like, even if you have a rig that is quite a few years old, chances are you can still run it just fine. Here are the specifications for Cyberpunk 2077:

Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 70 GB HDD, SSD recommended

Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows 10, 64-bit

So, yes, as we said before the specifications are nothing too extravagant, and we are quite thankful for it. The minimum requirements are something that almost anyone has these days. An Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470 graphics card is all that is required. These are almost 7 years old at this point, so literally anyone would have something better than this. And, even the recommended requirements are nothing too scary. Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury are pretty basic for today’s standards. These are mid-range components at best.It is good to see that the requirements are not too high. As there has been a lot of hype for the game, if it was too demanding, then a lot of gamers would have been disappointed. Cyberpunk 2077 releases in November 19, 2020, and we can’t wait to start playing it.
