You guys might have been slightly taken aback with the title of this article. Well, it is understandable, after all, it is not every day that you hear of a bundle of games that specifically allow you to pet the dogs. Well, for animal lovers such as me, this is quite an “Aww” move by Humble. @CanYouPetTheDog is a Twitter user with a simple mission, making a catalog of games where you can pet or not pet the dogs. Quite a unique mission. Anyway, CanYouPetTheDog has cooperated with Humble to round up games that have lots of good dogs. After all, who does not like cute doggos? The result of their cooperation is You Can Pet The Dog bundle. Just as the name sounds, it is a bundle of games where you can pet the good boys, we mean the dogs.
You Can Pet The Dog bundle consists of 8 games and 2 bonuses that have a total value of 161 USD. You have till September 31, 2020 to get this bundle. Just like other bundles by Humble, this also follows a tiered scheme. Depending on what you pay, you unlock a different tier, and get different games. However, when you get a higher tier, you also get the games and content included in the lower tiers. You get various games which are of very different categories and genres. So, let’s talk about the different tiers and what you have to pay for each. If you pay 1$ USD you would unlock the first tier. This would grant you access to four games. These are Scribblenauts Unlimited, Beyond Eyes, Dog Sled Saga, and Bulb Boy. For the second tier, you would have to pay 4.71$ or more, and you would get 3 more games: Shenmue I & II, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, Death's Gambit. And, if you pay 12$ or more, you would get access to another game, along with the previously mentioned games. The game you would unlock with the third and the highest tier is Blair Witch. Other than that you would also get two bonuses, BulbBoy Soundtrack and Dog Sled Saga Soundtrack.
So, with this bundle, you get quite a number of games, where you can have some fun, and pet the dogs. Furthermore, if you get this bundle you would also spend your money for a good cause. That is because of Humble’s charity. One thing which really sets Humble apart from the rest of its competition is charity. “Since Humble's first bundle in 2010, raising money for charity has been at our core. Everything we sell, from bundles to Store games to our Humble Choice subscription, gives a share to charity. We feature a different charity sitewide every month. By focusing our community's efforts on one cause at a time, we can work together to make an even bigger impact for each one.” - Humble
