Destiny 2 is Bungie’s most trending game these days. The game did not do too well in it’s release, however, things started to change with their third expansion, Forsaken. Later, in September 2019, Bungie decided to make Destiny 2 Free-to-play and brought their second expansion Shadowkeep. With this, they suddenly got a huge surge of players, and the game became more successful than it ever did. Now, Bungie has revealed a huge lot of details regarding the fifth, and the upcoming expansion, Beyond Light.
Needless to say, with the new expansion, we would obviously have lots of new content. New equipment, gears, cosmetics, season pass. Hell! Even a new planet! But, other than that one another major thing or rather things being added to the game, is a new sub-class. Ever since the game was launched and even now, the Guardians were only able to select a primary class and a sub-class. There are 3 options in terms of the primary class, Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. And each class had 3 sub-classes, each having a different elemental attribute. These sub-classes are the Arc sub-class, Void sub-class, and the Solar sub-class. Each sub-class also had 3 different variations, each having different perks and abilities.
Now, with Beyond Light, we are going to receive another sub-class. These will be the Static sub-classes which will be using the element of ice. Bungie has even uploaded a new video showcasing the abilities of this new sub-class. The video is titled Destiny 2: Beyond Light – Stasis Subclasses – Gameplay Trailer. Here is the new gameplay trailer:
The gameplay trailer is cool (pun intended) to say the least. We see Guardian freezing their opponents and shattering them one by one. We even get to know the name of the new sub-classes and a short description. However, to actually unlock this new sub-class, it seems to we need to embrace the Darkness. Thus, we would naturally need to some new missions, and perform some requisites to gain this power.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is launching on November 10, 2020. Initially, it was planned to release on September 22, but due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
